Postage Stamps Price Increase 2024
From stamp price increases to a new change of address process for mail, here's what you need to know before heading to the post office this year. On 3 april 2024, we increased the basic postage rate (bpr) by 30 cents, up from $1.20 to $1.50, and increased prices for domestic mail services:
Usps ground advantage prices would increase by 5.4 percent, priority mail service prices would increase by 5.7 percent, and priority mail express service prices would increase by 5.9 percent. The increase, approved by the commission this week, ties the record for the highest stamp hike ever.
